Loots and Matchmaking tricks for the Builder Base on Clash of Clans

Should you upgrade all the structures and troops before you move on to the next Builder Hall? Who has experience on Clash of Clans knows that this is one of the basic rules, but it actually doesn’t apply on Builder Base. Let’s see how to rig the matchmaking and easily win all Versus Battles on Clash of Clans .

In the classic Town Hall base it is essential to upgrade every structure and troop unit to the max before upgrading the Town Hall, in order to avoid the reduction of the loot when farming: if the available loot of the village we want to attack is as equal as ours, the quantity we can collect at 100% will be always lower with a TH11 than with a TH10 or TH9.

Different way to Farm on Clash of Clans – Builder Base

What as been said above doesn’t work on the new Builder Base, where the loot has actually always a set amount and tied only to the trophies’ range ( look at the Bonus Loot list on Builder Base). This means that the amount of loot you can gain it will be always the same no matter what BH level you are!

Strategically, having a max Builder Hall is always convenient as it it allows to:

  • build more supportive structures,
  • unlock new units,
  • unlock Battle Machine and Heroes,
  • build new defences,
  • favorable matchmaking

All of these benefits are possible without loosing or suffer any Loot loss in Versus Battle.

Matchmaking with a maxed out Builder Hall

So far the matchmaking system associates two villages based on the number of trophies or BH level, however, because there aren’t many BH4 or BH5, this rule isn’t applied so the higher BH you have, the more advantages you have!

Our advice is to upgrade to BH4( or higher ) as soon as possible before maxing troops and structures on BH2 or BH3 in case Supercell makes any changes to the metagame.
