It's true that it's nice to be searched, but there are those who wouldn't want to be seen online in the list of friends on Oculus. For this there is the possibility to set the "invisible" or "offline" mode on Oculus Quest, Rift and GO. Let's find out how to do it.

We could say that there are two ways to do it, one can be done by Oculus App from smartphones and another way is via PC or MAC always through the Oculus software client.

Appear Offline to friends on Oculus Quest, Rift and Go 2024 via Smartphone

1. We install the Oculus app on Android or iOS,
2. We log in with our account, then go to SETTINGS,
3. Then on PRIVACY SETTINGS,
4. Now set all entries as "ONLY ME ".

This way no one will know that you are every one to play Oculus.

Appear Offline to friends on Oculus Quest, Rift and Go 2024 via Windows or MAC on Desktop PC

1. We install the Oculus app on MAC or PC (attention because the official client weighs over 9GB!)
2. We access the FRIENDS tab,
3. We click on the three dots at the top right,
4. Click on the item "Show me Offline"

As you can see, it is possible to activate the offline and invisible mode on Oculus only by "bypassing" the system, because at the moment there is no simple and decisive option (directly from the viewer) to do it.
